Greenspan Bathroom

Blevins and Lungerhausen Kitchen Remodel

This Glen Park kitchen renovation involved new halogen lighting, electric plug undermounts, custom laminated cabinets, caesarstone countertops, cork flooring and new energy efficient appliances creating a sharp, sophisticated modern kitchen.

Santos Condo Remodel

This high-rise condo just off Geary Street on Cathedral Hill was renovated incorporating many custom materials. The new kitchen includes blue louise granite counters with Ann Sacks glass tile backsplashes, red birch cabinets, a large light soffit and all new Jenn-Air appliances. The bathrooms received all new porcelain subway tile from floor to ceiling, large wall mirrors, Kohler fixtures, and birch vanities capped with jerusalem gold limestone countertops. Efficient lighting was installed throughout as well as custom 7' tall doors. The finishing paint used was of a low VOC content resulting in better air quality for our client.

Vermut Bathroom Remodel

Located in the Theatre Lofts on Lower Haight, this modern loft was ready for a high-end bathroom. The existing bathroom and walls were stripped to enlarge the space and provide greater comfort. Jerusalem gold limestone slabs encompassed a Kohler whirlpool tub, and the same limestone was used to tile a separate shower and vanity countertop. Custom cherry wood cabinetry added a rich wood texture and large Jerusalem dark gray limestone tiles gave the room a good base that made the bathroom feel larger. Lastly, pocket doors with Lumicor panel inserts finished off the stunning new addition to the loft.

Gaul Bathroom Remodel

The existing bathroom was stripped and new tile and fixtures were added. Travertine tiles line the shower walls and floor while a cherry wood cabinet with carrera marble countertop anchors the bathroom. Kohler fixtures were used for the faucet, showerhead, sink and toilet, and Restoration Hardware fixtures were used for the towel racks and shower bar.

Blechen Kitchen Remodel

Located in San Rafael, the Blechen's decided to remodel their outdated kitchen by adding new tile flooring, cabinets, hood and oven, butcher block countertops, upgraded electrical, all new appliances and fixtures.

Clainos Bedroom and Bathroom Addition

Located in Hayes Valley, this project involved converting an existing in-law unit by remodeling a bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet and sun-room. To minimize square footage impact to the main floor above the addition, UDC helped design a custom spiral staircase to the upstairs flat. UDC also assisted with the new bedroom floor plan and the bathroom design with a custom shower and jacuzzi tub.

Doyle and Gigas Home Remodel

UDC recently finished this complete home renovation in Potrero Hill using many environmental friendly materials, resulting in a healthier and more energy efficient space. This project included many unique designs including custom cabinetry for the bathrooms and kitchen, a plaster fireplace, a state-of-the-art media room, a new master bathroom and a 1,200 square foot Ipe deck in the backyard. The master bathroom shower walls received large Ann Sacks glass tiles while the floor was tiled with herringbone carrera marble. Inspired by the customer's European roots, all of the fixtures throughout the home are foreign brands such as Cifial and Duravit. The media room boasts a 90” projector screen that descends handsomely from the ceiling while the hidden projector is cleverly built into the wall on the far side of the room. The walls and ceiling of the kitchen were expanded to add large skylights, picture windows and metal clad French doors which open out to the Ipe deck. These installs give the room much more natural light and a great view through the house to the backyard Ipe deck.
